Report of Regular Meeting July 2002

In regular meeting "kickoff night" in July, we had an official visit of Mr. Masanao Oyama, RD of Japan East Region, and Mr. Tsuneyashi Tsuneto, DG of Toshin District. The members put a new luncheon badge respectively and attended. Mr. Nakatomi read out the Holy Bible of the written language translation with tone.
The executive inaugural was done by the moderating of Inspector Mr. Kazuo Sato in the session of the RD. Because Past President Mr. Eguchi was absent in the urgent business, badges delivery after pledge of new executive were done by the RD and the DG.
As the greeting of the official visit, RD Mr. Oyama encouraged us. He expects that the Tokyo Club, which places a headquarters in Kanda, advances in the new conception when Tokyo YMCA is placed under a severe state. DG Mr. Tsuneto suggested the way that Y's should work as the middle group which joins a civilian and administration.
The budget in 2002-2003 was explained by Mr. Ryozo Matsumoto and was approved agreeing in all.

As for the policy of the Japan East Region in this year, RD Mr.Oyama said: "Our subject is Y'sly love through living together and praying together. We will aim to live with the persons who are left from the abundance. We put an effort into CS, TOF, etc, incorporating the meaning of the service. We will work with the local community. Let's make an effort in PR of the activity of Y's Men's Clubs.
