Report of Regular Meeting December 2002

The regular meeting in December is "Y's Spirit Christmas night". We were proceeded with the plan of Vice-president Mr. Tanaka by our established custom. The last Christmas worship at the Kanda hall was done in the chapel of 2nd floor as "Christmas candle fire worship". We greeted missionary Mr. Ken'ichi Nabeya in Nezu church of the Japanese Christianity Group. We heard a message from him. The moderating of Mr. Hidetaka Nakatomi and the organ accompaniment by Ms. Naomi Tanaka created the atmosphere of the worship of the church. Mr. Nabeya introduced the experience to dodge from the office worker. He told the big love of the god who sent a darling child to us to expiate our sin. Moreover, he said forcefully that YMCA is the forefront by which the love of the god is told in this world. The meeting donation of 10000 yen was sacrificed to the "International Cooperation Fund" in Tokyo YMCA.

The regular meeting (1st part) progressed by the moderating of Mr. Kikuo Yoshioka; the opening chime; the Y's song; the guest introduction; the reports; Mr. Toshihiko Matsuda explained the revision of the rule of Toshin District.
The second part "dinner" progressed by the moderating of Mr. Hiroyuki Tanaka at the conference room of 3rd floor. Meal was served in the service of the buffet form. We arranged beforehand with restaurant "Oker" and put six circle tables. After drinking, we chose meal to like. We enjoyed eating and drinking and had a pleasant chat. Behind Happy Birthday & Happy Anniversary, we had an attraction: all the quizzes that Mr.Tanaka prepared were related to YMCA. He distributed a card to the right answer person. The person who saved cards gets a giveaway. This plan livened a meeting place. The time passed while twinkling. Mr. Tanaka grumbled, saying "the problem of the quiz was still left". However, all participants were satisfied.
All members sang "the song of YMCA". With the closing chime of President Ms. Sato, the last regular meeting this year ended.
