Appeal April 2003: LT Night and the Apostle Peter

What is the requirement of the leader? When we look at the pupils of Jesus from his view point, we find unexpectedly an important unknown fact: there are no people who, having an extraordinary genius, has never made any mistakes; rather, we see the true image of people whose weakness is conspicuous from strength.
Peter, leader of the pupils, must have been very respected of course after the death of Jesus. However, the Holy Bible tells a lot of processes, which would be hidden unless Peter said, which the leader of the religion group would be usually ashamed to publish. Commonly, the official record section of the religion group must have thought of the deletion many time.
For example, he did a foolish question often to Jesus; he could not abandon a vulgar greed to the power; specifically he betrayed Jesus clearly, saying "I swear by Got that I don't know Jesus; etc. For him, to tell jesus should be to deny himself. However, Peter showed his wonderful leadership: he continued to testify against the junior pupils; he talked about his miserable failure, too repeatedly for the after executives of the religion group to delete it. When I think of the sincerity and the honesty of Peter, always I am moved to tears.
This may be the leadership which YMCA needs now.
