Appeal June 2003: Return to the original intention and maintain the ardent thought

During 1 year of this term, I met wonderful people in the various meetings. I saw the beautiful figure of the Y's men who support the activity for the YMCA in the Tokyo Club, the clubs in the vicinity, the Japan East & West Regions, the clubs of the foreign countries whitch associate with me.
I didn't expect the abundant gifts: the regular meetings, the YMCA festival, the Edo castle family walk, the new year meeting of all the Y's men who live in Tokyo, the menette night, etc. I thank for the cooperation of members and menettes who always present good idea. I was moved by the beauteous scenery of family love in the volunteer report of the youngsters. In the IBC activities, I could visite Australia and Hawaii. The publication of english bulletin is favorably continued.
We say that the same abilities as the relay runner are expected of the Y's men. I have been included in the brilliant runners. I thank the prayer and cheering of the club members. Then, I hope that the prayer and cheering will be continued for the president of next term. Also, I appreciate Ms. Nakatomi, president of Tokyo Y's Menettes Club who worked as the good partner in the Tokyo Club. I was glad to have been kindly encouraged and given the advices by executives of district and region.
In next term, we change the place of the regular meeting in the period. I think that it changes the actual state of the service. But I want to continue a Y's men activity, return to my original intention and maintain my ardent thought.
