Report of Regular Meeting July 2003

We had the first regular meeting in Toyocho. Members gathered from the early time, and ended all the preparation; we started the new year. The inspector Mr. Nakatomi presided the executive inaugural, being attended by RD and DG. The new executives pledged and the old executives conferred the executive badge on them. The new President Mr. Tanaka talked about the management policy in this year. The past president Ms. Shigemi Sato appreciated our cooperation in the previous year. Next, we heard the member news, the information of each commitee and YMCA, and the appeal to cooperate with "the feast to cool off the summer" on August 9th sponsored by the member department of YMCA.

After the dinner, we approved the budget of 2003-2004 unanimously. Next, the official visit greeting: the RD Mr. Yoshio Kashimura made the speech about the policy of the new year; the DG Mr. Kageyama stated the policy of the Toshin District and appealed for the District Convention. The general manager of Tokyo YMCA Mr. Kuniji Nibori greeted: "Welcome to Toyocho!" The past RD Mr. Masanao Oyama encouraged us: "Tokyo Club and I have the same age. We will be fine together." The DSD of funds of the Toshin District Mr. Hiroyuki Sakurai explained each fund and expressed the zeal: "I will concentrate on my role."
Next, the President of Tokyo Menettes Club Ms. Tanaka appreciated the achievements of the past President of Tokyo Menettes Club Ms. Nakatomi and presented her with a posy. After the fund for Bangladesh and the smile fund, we sang the song of YMCA. The chime of the President Mr. Tanaka closed the meeting.
