Appeal June 2004: I look back to this one year
Hiroyuki Tanaka, President
At first, I thank very much the executives and the members who supported and conducted me, newcomer, for one year.
We passed this one year under the subject: "Learn well, enjoy well and serve well." When I look back, I find results of this one year: we had 2 workshops; we had a regular meeting with 100% of attendance; we published the bulletin of 4 pages timely every month; each donation exceeded the goal mainly; these results depended on the efforts and the cooperation of members and each chairman; I appreciate you once more. Also, this year, we changed the meeting place of the regular meeting. However, no problem occured specifically; it did'nt aggravate the percentage of attendance. I am glad about it.
The other hand, we could not achieve regrettably some of the plans and the goals which I declared at the beginning of this year: start-up of the new CS businesses and reinforcement of membership. I regret that my efforts were not enough. I hope that the new executives review them while they construct the new plan.
I hope that the Tokyo Club, whose primary purpose is to support the activity of the YMCA through the service activities, becomes a good place of association in future too. I will continue my cooperation to the management of the Tokyo Club as ex-president.
