Appeal August 2004: Creator and Peace

In the regular meeting of August, we do bird-watching. I look forward to this unique try of the Tokyo Club. At my house, the sparrows whom my family named Konishiki, Terao, etc. make noise being caught in the trough. There is the playground of several kinds of birds in my garden. It is interesting to observe them.
It will be the secret to live long to always have an interest in something, observe it and be absorbed in it. I smile for a moment when I see some phenomenon especially in the nature. In such case, I feel the blessings of God; my body tightens up. I want to touch more the nature in the clamorous and lazy summer. Who did make the wide sky, the sea and the high mountain? Who gave us the delicious air, the pleasant wind and the beautiful music?
Also in August, we must think about the "peace". In all the centuries, there are wars and disasters. I think that Creator tests the human being patiently. At the time of Adam, we were given "the knowledge" to know God and informed of the sin. Therefore, I think of the lenity of God; and I want to tell the mind which seeks "peace" to the next generation at this time when the Olympics is held. I want to try always to pray and act for the people all over the world to be able to live safely, abundantly and happily without being discriminated against from the race, the religion, etc.
