Appeal May 2005: Let's look forward to the youngsters who take tomorrow!

The Tokyo YMCA, who was established under the motto "lead the youngsters to Christ", marked the 125th year in its history since establishment. The Tokyo Y's Men's Club, who continues to support it in the both sides of heart and thing to fulfil its mission, reaches soon the 75th year since establishment. During these years, taking over the tradition of our masters, we contributed to the local and international community with YMCA. Specifically, we sent the youngsters to the domestic and the oversea and we made an effort to help them to study and bring up the spirit of service.
Now, the north-south problem, the religious problem, the folk problem, etc. continue to cause a dispute all over the world. The mind of people are distant far with the realization of the love and peace intended by Jesus Christ. In this generation, the expectations to the youngsters who take future times are infinite. Now, in the both sides of heart and thing, we can support actively the youngsters who cherish big desire, are aroused and engage in it.
These business and activity will make the youngsters deepen more their relations with the YMCA and the Y's men's clubs. It is important to raise them as an important manpower who shoulders the YMCA tomorrow.
