Appeal September 2005: Let's increase the membership.

The Japan-East Region of the Y's Mens Clubs puts the EMC emphasis month in September. The regular meeting will improve the members' consciousness: to invite our friends or acquaintances to the Tokyo Club; to suggest signing up to them this year too. We had the "kickoff" regular meeting in July, beginning of the year; the "cooling off" regular meeting in August, when we spent the time of association. This month, we have the first active regular meeting in this year. The reinforcement of membership is our important problem and difficult activity. It is the problem, common to all volunteer groups.
When a new club or a new party (which is included a church) is organized, its leaders must have a vision, an identity and a personality. When they have a vitality more, they get cooperators; they compose some group; they produce a lively activity. However, the time elapse makes the alternation of generation. In this way, a lot of groups fall into a mannerism.
The Tokyo Club which reaches the 75th anniversary next year is situated on the higher rank in the Japan-East Region at the membership. We must remember that the Tokyo Club had 60 members before. I make an effort for the reinforcement of membership with you.
