Mr. Michael Shapiro made a speech about "the christianity in the Japanese-Korean relation history". He explained what historic background obstructed any formation among the Japanese christians and the Korean christians. It is the imperialist control of Japan to Korea, specifically, the policy to assimilate Korea to Japan that hindered their familiar association. I, outsider of christianity too, listened interestingly. I look forward to the future research of Mr. Shapiro, scholar who is specializing in the history of the Japanese Imperialismn.
