Appeal October 2005: Reaching 75th anniversary, let's deepen an association with IBC and DBC.

The Tokyo Club reaches an 75th anniversary of establishment in February, 2006.
We did an execution committee eight times from September 2004 to October 2005. We discussed and reviewed a holding day, a holding place, a guest speaker, a special business for the YMCA, a symbol mark, a theme, etc. We have the 1st whole conference Friday November 11th. And Saturday January 18th of next year, as the 2nd whole conference, the last discussion will be done at the Tokyo Garden Palace, our holding place by all of the members and menettes of the Tokyo Club.
The Tokyo club have five IBC and one DBC. We act the role of host alternately every year with the Kyoto Capital Club, our DBC and we deepen our mutual friendship. The attendees from the Tokyo Club to the International Convention at Cochin in India 2004 or to the Asia Area Convention at Seoul in Korea August 2005 had an association with each club of our IBC and promoted an mutual friendship.
We recognize the importance of IBC in the epoch of globalization when the information on the world spreads instantly by the acceleration of IT revolution with Internet. Also, we recognize the importance of the association of the Kyoto-Capital Club, our DBC, to acquire an information of the Japan-West Region when we reached 9th year since the separation of the Japan Region to East and West.
Mr. Milton Hakoda of the Hilo Club in Hawaii died. He contributed to the IBC conclusion with the Tokyo Club 6 years before. We wish for the rest in peace sincerely.
