The regular meeting in February lacks the Y's dinner by the established custom. We send the same amount of money as the Y's dinner charge to the IHQ. We sacrifice it to the goal for the support which is specified each year. The "TOF Night" was progressed by the program. Business committee report: Mr. Yoshioka, chairman of the 75th Anniversary Execution Committee, confirmed the schedule of the 75th Anniversary Commemoration Meeting from Saturday February 25th to Sunday 26th and he reported the state of its application of attendance. The election of the president and the vice-president of the next term was done, according to the rule of the Tokyo Club, under the conservation of Mr. Tsujimura and Mr. Kazuo Sato, election conservators. 21 members (all the members attendees) trusted in Mr. Tetsuo Chino (current vice-president) as president of next term and Mr. Tetsugoro Nakamura as vice-president of next term. Mr. Chino, president elect, expressed his determination: "I have a weakness, but I want to show my all power as president. I demand your support for me." Mr. Nakamura, vice-president elect, expressed his intention: "I will assist the president. I want to fulfil the duty of vice-president." All of the members clapped them to respond to their expression of determination.

The guest speaker was Mr. Takashi Sakurai who works as workshop facilitator (global education, environment education, town making, etc). The theme of speech: "The society changes with youth's power. - Global citizens' ability." Just now, the Tokyo Club established the Youth Club November 8th last year. He said: "It is the youngster that can support aging society. It is the adult that can support this youngster. The activity of the youngster needs the human and material support such as labor, sense and money of the adult." We found his opinion very reasonable. His conclusion: "I expect the power of the youngster to solve the environmental problems and make a local network. For the youngster, the attempt is more important than the consideration. We need make them attempt first. The support of the adult is to make them try. After the regular meeting, the interested person of the Tokyo Club had a friendship meeting with Mr. Sakurai to discuss about the upbringing of youth in another place.
