Report of Regular Meeting January 2007

The regular meeting of January was held; its program was changed suddenly, because Ms. Chizuko Ikegami, our guest speaker, couldn't come there for an unavoidable reason.
When we started the first regular meeting of the new year, we confirmed first the theme of the President Mr. Chino: "Let's begin a small thing whitch we can do." After the reading of the Bible and the worship, we listened the visitors' speech. First, Ms. Kyoko Ochi, RD elect of the Japan-East Region, appealed forcefully the activities with the Youth. Next, Mr. Takeo Ohara, CP of the Tokyo-Setagaya Club, and Ms. Rika Oki, chief secretary of the Tokyo YMCA, gave us a message.
Forceful speech of Ms. Oki: "The YMCA who has been withered and endured takes off this year. Based on the mission of the YMCA, we promote the restructuring of the citizen society."

We call the regular meeting of January "the BF Night". Mr. Ryozo Matsumoto, chairman of the BF Committee, appealed. The cash donation of BF is 46,000 yen. The EF 46,000 yen. The JEF(Japan-East Fund) 45,000 yen.
As the report of the YMCA, Ms. Okitsu, secretary of the Tokyo YMCA, expressed the appreciation of our cooperation with the "Open House" in the Toyocho Center. 20 members of the Tokyo Club participated it; its profit exceeded 200,000 yen. Next, she advertised the New Year Meeting in the Toyocho Center on January 27th, the street fund collection at Kinshicho on January 20th and the relief fund for the victims of typhoon in the Luzon Island of Philippine.
Next, Mr. Shoji presented the activities of the Tokyo Club of this half year with photograph. Finally, any members told their plan of the new year. Specifically, the plan of reinforcement of the Youth's activities of Ms. Sayama gave us a hope.
