Appeal April 2008: For LT Emphasis Month

This month began with the cherry blossoms' glory. We reached a good season with the magnificence of the spring's sunshine.
It is important to study the history of the Y's Men's Clubs and view its future as LT(leadership training). The purpose of the Y's Men's Clubs consists first in working as the service club for the YMCA.
Let's join these 2 sides of the LT. Let's study the Tokyo Club's YMCA service history of 77 years, discuss how to continue its service to the future on the micro viewpoint. In that way, let's think the meaning of existence of the Tokyo Club on the macro viewpoint. "Ten Years of the Japan East Region" and "Ten Years of the Toshin District" are the good documentations which show the YMCA service activities in the region, the district and the other clubs during the nearest 10 years.
And as membership, we are expected to promote the admission of many people for the reinforcement of services.
We are demanded to improve the competition society which alienates the human and to establish the cooperation society where the human cooperates together. The cooperation contains bond, love, kindness, solidarity and mutual understanding, which the YMCA and the Y's Men's Clubs have pursued. The Y's Youth Club Tokyo - Y3 did the establishment general meeting which we had wanted for so long. We expect the participation of many youth. Our service will be connected to the encouragement of mission and movement in the YMCA and the Y's Men's Clubs beyond the time.
